THE PARIS ÉLYSÉES CLUB
Paris Elysées Club :
From the automobile to the green carpet
Located at 34 rue Marbeuf, just steps away from the Champs-Élysées, this iconic place has undergone many transformations before becoming one of the most elegant gaming clubs in the capital. As early as 1929, the address established itself with the opening of an impressive Citroën garage-showroom, designed by architects Laprade and Bazin. Innovative for its time, the building stands out with its huge glass façade and its interior balconies on several floors, showcasing the vehicles like in a theatre.
Over time, the spirit of the place evolves without losing its aura. The basement becomes a legendary cinema, Le Marbeuf, hosting significant screenings including the legendary presentation of Citizen Kane by Orson Welles. Later, in the 90s, the building houses Man Ray, a trendy restaurant-bar co-founded by Hollywood figures such as Johnny Depp and Sean Penn, attracting celebrities and night owls.
Since 2018, this emblematic building now hosts the Paris Elysées Club, a prestigious gaming club of the Tranchant group. With its 17 green tables dedicated to classics such as Blackjack, Punto Banco, and Texas Hold’em – the venue continues a tradition of refinement and passion. A unique place, where each era has left its mark, and where the spirit of gaming continues to resonate.
